I was waiting for someone to mention that.

Sleeping.

So, yesterday evening my parents came for a visit.
I was hesitating at first, but I got all my guts together and asked them "Hey... I got the first chapter of my story finished, do you want to look at it?"
I wasn't so sure wether it's so smart because I had many argues with them about my plans getting an artistic job.
Well, they said they would look at it. And my dad couldn't stop saying how awesome he thinks my story is. I just remember my mom saying in the end that the story is too sad, the people shouldn't die crying. But to be honest, I never thought she'd understand that anyways, as she isn't really the smartest (example: Crossing Jordan was running on TV, and she said "this scene doesn't make sense!" after a little talk she said then "well it still doesn't make sense, I mean, why isn't it like CSI? THIS makes sense!").

But honestly, my dad approving this and my mom not stomping it in the ground? Makes me really pop flyin'.

And on saturday they will pass the pages to an old friend, booya!

Or do I have to wait til it hits the shelves.

Well as much as I would love to show you it... I don't have a scanner
And my webcam isn't really the best to catch pencil drawings. I made the copies at my boyfriends parents home... But since my parents already gave me some birthday presents, I know there is some cheddar amongst it (I love you grandma!), maybe I'll buy a scanner/printer, since I'm realising one would be handy as I'm starting to draw more now.

Oh no! It's fine! Just means that it'll be even better when I do get to read it.

Likely, as I'm fixing some panels/sites/whatever from the feedback I got, and then I start getting it to the final form (will just be inked, as texture paper is so goddamn expensive and hard to get and I only have like 4 sheets and aaaaaaaazuwruiwilasbv).
