Heavens to Betsy, where are all these adbots coming from? Is it possible for you guys to IP ban them? Has the recent influx come from 1 IP address? Is there any way stop them from coming in? I'm rooting for you guys. Free my robot brethren from the spam sweatshop!

Soooooo I'm uncertain where this sort of thing would go, but as it turns out I'm only able to access the forum via the computer at work. My apple products won't seem to connect to the forum, it keeps spitting out this "Error 503: Temporarily unavailable" business. What do?

Oh, that happened to me after the Cleansing of the Spampocalypse. Probably had something to do with banning, but I don't know how to undo it.

Have you tried clearing your cache and switching browsers?

It could have to do with the IP address of whatever device you're accessing. For a whole, I couldn't sign in on my phone if I wasn't using wifi, presumably because there had been a bot that got banned under the same cellular IP.

Shouldn't a ban result in a message rather than a generic error?

Oh duh, right. When I experienced this issue, it was only a slightly gussied-up "service denied" or "forbidden" page, though.

I can give feedback, too.

I wanted to say that I am glad that the Awkward Zombie forums are mostly devoid of sexist and racist comments, with the few exceptions being reported to the proletariats (oftentimes almost immediately).

Of course I won't say that this community is perfect when it comes to these issues, and that we still all have some shortcomings about debating maturely. However, seeing incredible shitstorms of immaturity, misogyny and discrimination on social media and on other forums (most, of course, much bigger than us) makes me feel like this place is far from the worst.

I like that our members are all very different and I am pop flyin' that we rarely get problematic situations because of it. If anything, most of our "situations" come from people being mad over the video games other people enjoy. Which, don't get me wrong, is absolutely ridiculous with how serious we sometimes take it, but I'd rather have that than "get back in the kitchen!" jokes.

Of course, if you feel otherwise, I'd be glad to hear it too.

Keep your efforts up.
