probably did. but fuck that prob.

i want to resolve a huge problem ive been having for years and years now but never bothered to fix correctly.

My computer does something weird that google has failed to find me the solution to for quite awhile now. When I start up my computer and click on an account to login on, after about a few seconds on the "Welcome" screen and I login, I'm on my desktop and the next second the computer freezes suddenly for a minute. It doesn't stay frozen though; after about a minute, it unfreezes as if nothing ever happened. This very same freeze happens whenever I start up a full screen game such as League of Legends, Skyrim, or Borderlands. Whenever the game goes to full screen, it freezes then unfreezes after a minute. IT ALSO DOES THIS WHENEVER I ALT TAB OUT OF THEM OR BACK INTO THEM. It makes multitasking while playing games IMPOSSIBLE. Weirdly enough, starting up and playing WoW and alt tabbing in / out of it doesn't trigger this freeze. I've tried so many things, I'm willing to try anything at this point.

Hear my plea for help.

I'm gonna state the usual solution and suggest a clean install of Windows, preferably after a complete format. If that doesn't help, then you know that the problem is most likely hardware-related. If your installation is old, it'll probably also make your PC faster in the sense that you won't have years' worth of clutter and problems.

For the CD tray problem, do you hear it making sounds like it wants to open but can't? If it's making sounds but doesn't open then that means that it's just jammed a little. If you had to put the computer on it's side that's probably the reason. Either push the button and jiggle the front of the tray a little, or find the pin sized hole under the tray and poke it with something that fits. That should open it.

If the cd tray doesn't respond to anything you've either disconnected it accidentally or that tray is dead to the world.

burn a copy of a windows backup and test boot from that
if the problem still happens, it's hardware
if not, reinstall windows.

If I just want to mount .isos and stuff should I just get Deamon Tools Lite? Is there any point in getting Pro?

Or is there anything better/free?

If I'm not mistaking you can't mount DVD .isos withe the Lite version, only with Pro. Or you can just use winrar

works for DVDs too. I have no idea what the pro version does that the lite version doesn't.

Whenever I try to run Binding of Isaac, it says that the game is currently unavailable. I have friends who can play the game right now.

How can I fix it?

It keeps saying that about Assassin's Creed for me, but the game runs eventually anyway. Keep trying?

Try that "Verify File Integrity" option or whatever it was called, maybe your installation got messed up?

I would try a reinstall of the graphics card driver. It seems the issue pops up whenever the driver changes states so give that a try.
