In Ontario the LCBO (liquer control board of ontario) and the Beer Store are the only places you can buy alcohol. Lcbos and beer stores are everywhere, it's not inconvenient.
(Judging from the times i've gone with my parents since i'm not of age pfff)

Alkos are pretty common as well. The ships sailing between Finland and Sweden/Estonia also have the rights to sell strong alcohol. Many Finns also visit Estonia for the sole ourpose of buying alcohol.

When do they close though? Somewhere around 10 or 11? To an American, that's incredibly early given the tendency to stay out past 2 in the morning. While we were in Vancouver, we were tracking the stuff down at about 10:30, and while we could definitely find stores that sold it, they were still closed.

At 9 I think.

You think thats bad? In Sweden, the goverment has a monopoly on strong beer and alcohol, and the latest they keep Systemet, their stores open is 7! On Saturdays its only 3 PM, and Sundays are always closed.

Most stores close around 6 or 8 here but nightshops also sell alcohol and they stay open till 2 or something.

Okay, so just plan ahead for when you want to have a get together with friends who drink, or just always keep some on hand. I don't see the huge issue with being restricted to liquor stores and certain hours.

Because I want to be able to get a six pack at aany hour of the night. When I was in Denmark, it was like a different world, just being able to stroll down to 7/11 and pick up some decent booze.

I tried it straight at first. I knew it would be too strong neat, but I just wanted to know what it would taste like first. Then I mixed it with Pepsi. Even a whole can of Pepsi wasn't enough to counter a shot of this stuff. My stepdad is suggesting trying it with juice.

pepsi is shit. try it with coke or dr.p

from the sounds of it, it may be better to try it with dr.p cause its sweeter and counteracts it better
