I'm not sure why people are saying I got converted when I was protected by the petty officer that night. I mean I know my word is only as good as how you take it, but I feel like I missed some of the reasoning here.

Benson claimed he was seduced in this post just after the first night ended:

So you weren't protected from the Mutineer, even though Benson intended to protect you. Unless there was an administrative mistake, you're a turncoat now.

And it's not that I'm certain about this - you could be telling the truth, and something went wrong the first night so that were officially recognized as protected, or maybe both Benson and Reyo lied, or something, but it's just not worth the risk. There's a good chance you're a mutineer, so I advocate lynching you in the interest of better safe than sorry.

Oh, I see. Yeah, that makes sense.


But even so, I feel like there are bigger fish to fry for our crew--after all, we have traitors on the loose still, and converted mutineers aren't capable of converting people themselves. I'm basically no threat to anyone no matter which way the dice rolls.

Fair. My only concern is that at present, I think there are two mutineers plus Marcato? So if we only kill Marcato, then the mutineers can catch up with us in number while we go for the traitors, at which point they can dominate the lynch even without their leader.

Personally, I think I'll advocate trying to suss out a traitor tomorrow, then you the next day, if I or the game last that long. With Marcato already as good as lynched, I've realized we don't need to worry about the mutineers increasing in number.

No. Shit. We were able to get the votes to go after Marcato, so he can only have one ally.

Yeah I guess you're harmless. I don't expect the role of chief mutineer gets passed down.

Well, we might find it more useful to go after the traitors. Theyre the bigger threat here.

Probably because I serve the monarchy. But all the chips are in and there's little anyone can do about it at this point.

4 out of 6 people have voted to lynch Marcato. There is no tiebreaker for this one. You'll just have to wait until the next day to lynch me.

(not to be pushy, but it has kind of been more than a week. even if we hadn't gotten enough votes for a lynch within a few days, it should be night by now.)
