Looks like Griselbrand is Grisel-BANNED. In EDH, that is.

So I bought that Zendikar box. 5 mythics, 4 fetchlands (One of which is foil, and worth 30 bucks). Got some other good cards like Goblin Guide, Pyromancer Ascension, and Day of Judgement.

So after a few weeks of waiting, I finally got my bulk Pokemon cards sold for $350... it was supposed to be $390 but apparently they were supposed to change their "25% extra bonus credit" promotion back to 10% and so I got fucked out of $40. Oh well.

Also, since it took them so long, all of the things I wanted to buy from them (booster boxes of the newer sets) have been sold out. Looks like I'm getting 4 boxes of Dragons Exalted.

Please tell me someone else on this site plays Pokemon. It's really coming back recently, and I have so few people to talk to about this stuff.

By coincidence, I'm starting to play Teh Pokeemanz again.
Might actually buy that special Mewtwo promotion set if it's still available.

What type(s) is your deck?

I currently have 3 functioning decks, 1 of which will be decimated by the rotation this September, the other two I'll just need to sub some cards in.

My first deck is an Electric/Fire Amphboar deck, which uses Ampharos to power up Emboar and then smash for high power. It's a fun deck but it's kinda slow to set up, so I like to use it for more laid back games.

My second deck is a Water/Psychic Kyutelle deck. I start off quick with Kyurem and Kyurem EX to hit and stall while I get Gothitelle and Gardevoir set up. Then Gothitelle sweeps the rest away. Also kinda slow, but since Kyurem is a decent tank without being useless, I'm moderately able to get a good go. (was 1 prize away from beating a standard CMT deck).

Finally, my latest deck, which I'm most proud of and using competitively, is a Fire/Dark Enrai deck. Darkrai EX is there for free retreat and some bench hitting, Sableye pulls items out of the discard, Entei EX burns them and powers the bench, and Volcarona benchsits and does double burn damage. Recently went to Battle Roads with this deck and went 3/2 (might've done better, but I neglected to do the math right in my head first match which may have at least put me in a better position to beat him. The other match I lost was also very close, but I hit a few energy snags, and Magnezone crushed me before I could have him deck out.).

Once the next set comes out, I'm interested in making a Rayquaza EX deck with an Emboar or Eelektric energy engine. I think that card is going to be on it's way to being the next Mewtwo EX, for better or worse.

Also, Ho-oh EX would be a fun quirk deck to run, and apparently it's very popular in Japan where they run it with Tornadus and Juniper (Juniper discards the hand, hopefully full of Energy, and when you flip to bring Ho-oh back, you c an put it on the bench with 3 energies already. then, power up Tornadus, it's attack lets you remove an energy from it to put on a benched mon, keep doing this until you get a lot of different energies, and then sweep with Ho-oh.)

It's a bit risky, but I like the uniqueness of the strategy, and even if I don't pull off a deck like that, Ho-oh's always been a neat deck to run, even back when I had a Gen 2 deck for it.

gonna post the ones i got scanned already here then make a site or...something for the rest. it'd be a good excuse to start going through some more. these are scans i took of the actual cards - all the ones i'm posting right now i at one point had duplicates of so this isn't the actual card but they all are in the same condition. all of these will be mailed in a sleeve or case depending on what they're in currently. all prices are cheaper than most of what they're going for on ebay right now so don't bitch at me if they seem expensive - these are all rare or at least really good cards.

and i can't find any for sale online, probably because searching "urza card" is pretty much useless considering he has 3 editions named after him, so i was hoping one of you guys knew or would give me an offer or something. i'm pretty sure it's not legal or supposed to be played at all, though it has an ability on it, but idk it's got nice art? haha

I didn't get too into Pokemon TCG, so my deck is a bit lacking.

It's mostly Psychic and Grass.

I usually try to go for my Beautifly (Dat Giga Drain) or Gardevoir, but my Mismagnius and Giratina are pretty impressive too.
I don't have that much in way of power (which is the exact opposite for my bro's deck), but I can easily deal with his Ramphardos, Golem, Torterra and Machoke and lose only one or two. By that time I already have at least a Kirlia or Silcoon on my bench.
I get the most use of of Quickball and Duskball, which are fantastic when used with Misdreavus' "Take Back" attack. Wobbafett and his "Call for Friends" is also useful, as he can usually survive after using it so he can "Retaliate" for considerable damage.

I also have a few Delta Species to mix it up. They are ever so fun.

still a yugioh fan! been playin since 4th grade; even taught all the guys in my family how to play. we duel all the time now. i have eternally cockblocked them. hahahahahaaa...

Built a ramp deck today. The fastest that it was able to go was turn 2 Koth, turn 3 Prime Time into a turn 4 Proggy.
Consistently gets Progenitus out via Green Sun's Zenith or Tooth and Nail by turn 5.

I can not get over how in love I am with this game after one training match. Anyone else familiar with it?

There's only one thing for sure I'm certain about Vanguard.

IT HAS A BADASS OPENING THEME SONG SUNG BY JAM PROJECT! Also I want to try getting into it but I have a current investment in yugimons and I have mixed feels about being invested in two card games.
