Sitting here pissing around on Youtube, not doing much when suddenly

That didn't sound right.
Aaaaand that's when the splashing water sound started.
Run downstairs, find out that the downstairs 1/2 bath is now a full bath with a shower conveniently located in the light fixture.
Run downstairs again to the garage/basement, water is flowing freely out of the ceiling into a small lake. Frantically shut off the valve, then call the land lady.

THANKS MUCH, -20 TEMPERATURES. Oh well, at least the internet still works.

On the bright side, you now have that water slide you always didn't know you may have possibly wanted!

Currently downstairs figuring out what room to tackle first now that I'm healthy again. The laundry room would be the best so I can make shelf space, pantry space, and get rid of some misc stuff. But I also need the long room cleaned so mons can get down here to help go though the shelf stuff, and we can get rid of a half burnt futon and old clothes.

Update on the pipe burst:
The complex's electrician is here sawing holes in the bathroom ceiling. Why the electrician? The plumber is busy at 14 other places.

I wish people around me stopped taking the weather personally.
My father's only conversation topic is the weather and I couldn't give less of a shit about it so it's very irritating to have to listen and nod every time he reports the weather forecast to me (he doesn't bat an eyelid when the news are talking about actual news but as soon as any of the ten thousand daily weather forecasts is on he runs in so he can compare the numbers with those of the online weather forecast service he keeps refreshing all day long and complain about discrepancies). And he gets offended when there's more snow coming because he wants winter to be over and complaining about it apparently pushes the Earth a little further on its orbit.
Why not complain about the Earth being round or the moon not being close enough for your personal taste while you're at it, since those are also things we totally have control over and that warrant spending any amount of energy bitching about.
Also because I work with the public I have to engage in smalltalk and the only way out is to pretend I do think it's unfair that we didn't get X days of clear sky this week and eurgh I'd rather be an ATM and escape that noise.

Ugh I have to replace some outlets today.

I was planning to borrow an Ebook, but this app is being retarded. Microsoft won't let me repair it unless I sign in to my microsoft account, I already am, and it's not recognizing my password despite it being the right one. Grrrr. This is so dumb.

I think I would be less "mildly annoyed" would not have been my reaction. I would have reacted more along the lines of "so I went and kicked holes in the kids".

I'm preparing for an exam tomorrow, and I'm confused as to what I'm supposed to learn. I remember the teacher saying "the last exam spanned over these topics, so study the ones after these", but I also noted down that she said "everything starting with this topic".
The thing is, the difference is that I have to learn either 20 or 2 pages. The former is too much, and the last too less. I'm just glad I already wrote an exam over 2/3 of those pages at my old school, so it's just refreshing, but still.

I haven't played any games in quite a while because I had to put my controller and a bunch of other things into storage while I'm in the middle of moving and between homes. I decided to try to play a game using just the keyboard and I realized that trying to do a lot of complex actions on a device that isn't make to fit neatly in my hands is actually causing a bunch of strain on my wrists.

So, I can only fill out my time by reading Youtube comments. /fateworsethandeath
