Take solace in the fact that a swarm of moths would be more dangerous than this particular group of spiders. But even I feel sorry for the first guy to go "That's some weird looking moss and it's kind of crunchy..."

I thought that just the larva eat your clothes. And yes, moths are awesome.

Until they get into your kitchen and start infesting and breeding in your food. One time I opened a fresh jar of peanut butter and the entire top was just covered in maggots. God that was terrible.

Because they legit are caterpillars

most caterpillars you see on a day to day basis actually become moths, not butterflies

A swarm of moths versus my two cats would result in a lot of stray wings scattered around the house.
