Well yeah but I kind of wanted to make something tournament legal because all of my other decks are outdated.

the last magic tourney i played in, my last match was my elf token deck vs this guy's fungus token deck for a war of attrition that ended in stalemate after an hour
he had probably about 150 tokens out by the end
"what's that d100 for?"
"tokens"


on another note, since the Wizards correspondent guy running magic at my local gaming shop turned out to be sleazy as hell, they've stopped magic events and are starting WoW TCG stuff
it's all right, but i'm not so sure i want to invest in it yet

Fucking saprolings. Selensya was so goddamn broken in Ravnica because of all those tokens and the shenanigans you could pull in that block alone. That and DOUBLING SEASON

Is being a dollar card a good or bad thing? I didn't really have a use for it, but I just couldn't understand why he would try and steal another card from me, or why he would want it. I guess it would've been useful to trade to someone else in our school who would want it.

Sometime good sometimes bad. He might be building a Synchron deck, you never know. Being a dollar card just makes it accessible and easy to replace. Hell, there are plenty of good dollar cards out there.

nobody actually does this with cards that aren't proxies, right?
