I think what she tried to say there was that she didn't understand anything of what you all said, and wanted to know what that was about, so she could try to correct it. I don't think she ever thought of "ignoring" what you all have said.

It was implied that they weren't helpful because I couldn't properly produce specific examples from the abstract concepts. I suppose that the connection made more sense in my head than it did actually typed out. My apologies.

The fact that she needs defending is evidence enough she shouldn't be here. Twelve-year-olds do not. belong. on the internet.

There's really no valid reason to "put up" with them when they shouldn't be here in the first place. Their age keeps them from a developed sense of social tact and comprehension. It shouldn't be up to us to baby her or anyone else like her along until they become "acclimated" to the internet.
Just have her play with her Barbie dolls and Playmobil sets for another few years and then she can come back and give it another shot.

You know, I'm often told that I'm distracted and incoherent in real life. I am trying to work on it, but it's difficult.

I'll try not to point out obvious things. It's just that I get confused easily. I can't promise an immediate change, but I will work on it.
