- saw my very first concert (lady gaga lol) with some close friends in my home city when i was 12
- seeing the very same concert again (lg) this time many years later on my year abroad next week

gosh feeling nostalgically pop flyin' is very different to normal pop flyin', but i enjoy it!

Oh daisies, that sounds cool! How different was Gaga then vs now? She seems more... regal now. IMO.


Also I got a job! Yay! Been unemployed for two months and feeling like worthless shit, but starting Monday I have a real job with real hours and vacation time and personal days and paid bank holidays and I'll make more cheddar than I ever have before (and more than my two first jobs combined)! Woo!

I work for an electronics company.

I applied to 1 job offer and I got a new job with a better salary and most importantly a better environment and higher standards of quality (people there actually seem to know what they're doing so that's different). It's also in my home town instead of an hour away from everyone I know.

The last few months at work have been goddamn ridiculous. We get busier and busier, I'm working more hours than ever, volunteering for Saturdays just to keep up. I've asked for help, just someone to stay at the shop and take some work off my hands for one day a week but it won't happen. The last few days in particular have left me feeling like I need to find another job but I've got nowhere to go.

Five minutes ago the owner of the company handed me a $100 bill and told me he's impressed with my work. So there's that.

There's a craft beer microbrewery moving into a restored 1894 Victorian-style house bodaciously right across the street from my house.

and because I'm a shitty millennial I am so fucking excited for this

Finally started the hormone therapy after all of these years of just dealing with gender dysphoria! It feels good to start taking control of my life.

I remember struggling with those feelings and emotions many years ago, and all of the beautiful people on this site who helped me understand myself.
