AWKWARD ZOMBIE

Ive had hummus the last three days at work for lunch.

I love hummus.

also im cross stitching at work liek the little old lady I am 10/10 job.

I figured out what was throttling the RAM on my laptop and got it functional again.

Which means the $1000 worth of PC components I purchased in a huff last night are completely unnecessary.

More than 6 years after the facts, I think I'm finally starting to get rid of the "everybody is just waiting for an opportunity to make me feel miserable" thought process which is perhaps the most pervasive emotional scar I got out of high school.

I'm finally upgrading my computer after 3.5 years so that I can smoothly run all my software! And better yet, it's a brand fucking new upper-mid range laptop (first time I haven't had to go the semi-outdated refurbished route) that I managed to get for like, $550, and I decided to finally get a new messenger/laptop bag. since my old one is getting worn out, due to it being the same age as my relationship with Sloth (6-ish years). The bottom corners of the old bag are so worn that you can see daylight through them.

Aaaaaaaaaa my new computer/book bag got here today and it's so wonderful and all in one piece and all the zippers work and it's pretty and purple and waterproof and comfortable to wear, and it has plenty of pocket space and aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa yissss

Also, I get to spend the whole day lounging about with Sloth on my last day off before classes start again tomorrow. Made a delicious breakfast scramble thing and I get to just hug him obnoxiously whenever I want and yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssss. Also, I am making crab wontons and kimchi sushi rolls for dinner, which he fucking loves.

Today is a good day. I will miss days off for the next three months.

Had dinner with colleagues my age and it was okay.

Although as usual it highlights how boring and unfit for social events I am. I have no conversation beyond work-related stuff and programming in general and the others were mostly talking about Tinder and dating and having a life which are all things I know nothing about so it was a bit awkward.

But it was nice.

Got a contract with Overkill to draw for an upcoming Payday 2 update

I'm bringing my Wii U to my video game club today. Some other kid brings his, but I'm bringing mine as well.

Already over the hype, but still excited.

I am now living in San Antonio, TX
Internet here is bodaciously twice as fast for half the price thanks to Google Fiber forcing everyone to lower their prices.
Still don't know anyone here, but I'm excited for the future.

I guess we're all moving to Texas, now.
