oooooh lucky duck. also I don't really know what makes weekends special, other than more people also having that same free time. Maybe you'll be able to schedule a daytime outdoor outing with local friends?

Just do whatever you do in spare time, but over longer periods. Make coffee fo half an hour, play more video games, find time to squeeze in the rest of the day after wasting it on video games, uh...

I'm working on dming my first ever D&D game over roll20 and it's actually going pretty well. Everyone is having fun imagining their characters, the setup is coming along nicely, and it's not as intimidating as I thought it would be.

I got a car today! It doesn't look the best, but I only paid 800 for it and it drives fine so I'm super pop flyin' about it. My finances are gonna suck for the rest of the month because of it, but oh well.

Found out today that living in Indianapolis means living directly next to one of Amazon's major distribution / fulfillment centers.

I also found out that the Pokemon Center website uses Amazon for their orders.

I also found out that the USPS in Indy will deliver packages on Sunday, unlike anywhere else I've ever lived.

Today is a good day for receiving Pokemon plushes in the mail.

Internet is approximately 10x faster here than my previous home.

Now all I need is a decent PC and I'll be set.

Wuuuut I want a charcuterie and movie day. I may have to settle for a lunchables and movie day, same concept right?

Sloth and I had already discussed this, and we decided that lunchables are basically just a more portable, kid-friendly version, yes.

They make "artisan-esque" prepackaged salami, fancy cheese, and toasted cracker rounds that are sold right next to lunchables. They're actually pretty good for lunch, they're just overpriced because ~luxury convenience~

My dog saved me from a copperhead bite last night. I got home from work and as I got near the door, my dog started barking at something on the porch and it was a fucking snake. It was too dark to tell what kind it was, so I got my gun and shot it. If it was a cowsnake or some other harmless snake I would have left it alone, but since I couldn't tell what it was, I just killed it. Sure enough, once it died, I brought it into better lighting and it was a fucking copperhead. I think it was already hurt beforehand from something though, because it didn't really move at all until I shot it. That, or it just got done eating something.

Good doggo.
