The oil "burning" in my truck turned out to be nothing more than normal consumption, which I should have realized given how old the engine is. There was also an error code for the high voltage system being overcharged but then it turned out the fucking terminal connectors were loose.

EVAP system still busted but what can I do about that.

RX 480 GPU. I'm finally living in the modern generation.

And I have Windows 10 without a good graphics card or something required to record.

So I decided to create an account and stuff. They have a mailbag every standard podcast where you can e-mail them an answer to the question of the episode. They read through every one.

The point of all this TEXTWALL is that they read my answer to a previous question! Episode number, where my letter was in the mailbag, is 242. It felt awesome.

My PS3 is working again! The new drive didn't work at first, so I took it back, and they ran a diagnostic on it. Turns out it was a loose connection.

But anyway, it works! Yay!

Since I last visited, the sad thread has gone up 44 pages, and the pop flyin' thread has gone up 81.

That's a lot more effort than I expected, thanks!

I'm really starting to notice the progress I've made when it comes to socializing and coming out of the isolation I had developed when I was at my worst with depression. I'm starting to post on the internet more, even occasionally on Facebook (though mostly in comments, I don't really see the need to tell people about my life constantly). It's like I'm becoming more comfortable sharing my thoughts and feeling as though they actually matter.

My real-life interactions and friendships are getting better as well, largely thanks to the bf forcing me to at first, but now I'm also getting better at actually reaching out to folks I'd like to talk to or asking questions of people. It wasn't even social anxiety holding me back in my case, just a general feeling I had of "who cares what I have to say". But I'm getting a lot better now.
