Yup, that's what the day full of games is for. And I'll probably booze things up later for good measure.

I'm so glad the whole job hunt grind is over.

I'm pop flyin' for you. Is it in a nice school?

Today I worked on my game for the first time in a month and I fixed a major bug that made it unplayable and improved rendering performance with only minimal changes :science:

Yeah! It's this super tiny (like, a bit over 100 kids total) private school that's pretty new in the area. Never would've heard of it if it wasn't for the summer camp lady's recommendation. But they toured me around the place and all the other teachers seem really nice, plus the tiny class sizes would eliminate like, 90% of the stress I would probably have at a public school.

Iceland defeated England in Euro 2016, I am so god daisies pumped right now.

Our little country managed to make England panic and beat them, I am so overjoyed right now

Now we just gotta beat down France on Sunday

I've actually been having consecutive good/great days instead of just "not bad" days. Oddly enough, my birth control seems to be what instigated the initial step up to generally having "not bad" and occasional good days, as "eh" to bad had been the previous normal range. At least, that's when I noticed a change, was a week or so after I started the prescription. And then once all the wedding stress was over and I got to start living with Sloth, the days upgraded again to good/great, even on days that I work at the store.

I get to live with my best friend and we get to play games and work on projects together and I get to make food for both of us and it's great. Also, Sloth and I have been doing doodles in a sketchbook both based on events from life since we got married, and just random bullshit we want to draw to each other so far, it is both adorable and hilarious.

In other news, I came up with a concoction that we've decided to call the "strawberry bitch", which is about 3/8 cup of vodka and triple sec each, over ice, and pour in strawberry soda to fill. it'll make a 10-16 oz drink depending on how strong you want it/what glass you make it in, while mine averages around 12oz.

Also, roasted chicken and vegetables for dinner tonight eeeeeee. It's one of my favorite hot foods to make, and I haven't been able to make it much the last year or so, mostly because of sharing space with a vegetarian roommate who took up half the fridge with her and her boyfriend's beer.

My brother surprised me by buying me a new keyboard and it is so wonderful it clicks loudly and it only makes inputs after the key actually makes a click and I haven't accidentally hit the wrong key while trying to press a different one aside from the times where my muscle memory gets confused and tries to hits a different key that makes a similar sound or is usually pressed after a certain combination of other keys and it has random rainbow light settings that makes it glow and everything.

I also have a fancy new mouse with eleven reprogrammable buttons.

I just had my last day on my retail work programme.
The regional manager of the company got all of us on the program together for one last picture.
And after the picture was taking she says this;
"All of you today have jobs with us!"

Everybody on the program got a job with the company!

After 2 years of being unemployed, finally!

They still have some things to sort out and we'll find stuff out by I think Monday or Tuesday.

Sloth and I went to the farmer's market yesterday and bought a shitton of berries and zucchini and eggplant and radishes and cabbage and garlic and onions and garlic scapes (probably the last week to buy any good ones) and bok choy.
Made some jam with the overflow of raspberries that got a bit squished (so they would have started molding tomorrow anyway) and oh gosh estoy excite for just delightful summery food.

Sitting in the theater to see Independence Day: Resurgence. It starts in just a few minutes.

That was a given.

But it was a pretty good movie. I also dropped off my PS3 to get fixed.
