Done with schoolwork for the next three months. Fuck yeah

Holy shit! I managed to properly detail a car on the first try! Didn't have to redo a daisies thing!

Also, they handed me a check today, instead of direct deposit. If I hadn't missed that one day of work, I'd have made over $1k for two weeks.

I must agree. Although I am moving, so still a little work to do. But making new friends is awesome, my dog being cute is awesome, sleep is awesome, getting a bunch of wins in Splatoon creates a feel-good feeling.

Detailing one of my little bro's kits and I'm starting to feel the itch to build again. I'm also working more consistently and for more hours, so more cash. The only thing left to do now is picking a kit big and stupid enough to make me regret starting it 20 steps in.

Bought the Lego Minecraft set Jungle Tree House. At the end of the first instruction book, it talks about Minecraft. One sentence in particular makes me chuckle.

"Creative mode is a place where your little ones can bend the rules of nature, and experiment with TNT in a safe environment."

I know it's Minecraft and all, but... It just sounds so wrong.

My crested gecko, Matches, I think is starting to get used to me. He/she (still too young to tell, but I'm leaning towards female?) still gets a bit startled when I try to pick 'em up from 'es enclosure, but doesn't seem to mind climbing onto my hand afterwards. Since it's still a baby, he/she is still a little jumpy, but he/she is remarkably calm despite that and calmly climbs and jumps around my hands and shirt while I kick back.

It accidentally jumped off the bed today (luckily my bed isn't very far off the ground) and just climbed the bed back onto my shirt instead of booking it and hiding somewhere. Last time it jumped off it tried hiding in my laundry, lol.

The little thing is also looking real healthy since I got 'em 5 weeks ago.

Got a fat pack on sale and the first pack I opened had a card worth the price of the box alone. The rest was pretty solid too, smiles all 'round.

Had a surprise interview today (as in, someone I met at the summer camp I worked at last week called and said "Hey this school is hiring, can you come in right now"). it went really well and the school looks awesome. Plus they said they'd get back to me by the end of the week.

Got my PC back and now with a new fan over the processor, I no longer feel like I have an airplane motor right next to me.

Too bad they didn't give me a new CD driver, I can't open mine so I suppose I'll have to settle for the busted one for now.
