Dad sold a campervan for a Suzuki Swift and then said it would be primarily for my use, which is pretty sweet. It's a fairly good car, supposed to be really fuel efficient and is comfortable small for parking.

Now I can finally live my life on the city road.

I think I'm pop flyin'??

- My internship is going great. My boss asked me to come in her office this morning to tell me she asked my coworkers and they had only good things to say. Then during a planning meeting she asked me if I was planning to take vacations later in the summer even though my internship ends in May so it seems to confirm with the guys told me last week at the restaurant about how the team leader takes for granted that I'm going to be hired full-time.

- My team leader assigned me the longest task because he thinks I can take it and it seems can handle it just fine.

- I had an extended family dinner at my uncle's sugar shack and my aunts and uncles asked about my internship and they reassured me about my initial fears and it boosted my self condidence.

- A nice lady gave me a reusable grocery bag when I didn't have one.

- I have energy. I can wake up before 7 AM with no real trouble and still stay up after 10 PM and I'm not a zombie until 6 PM anymore.

I am unreasonably pop flyin' right now. I can't quite pinpoint why since the only thing I did recently was switch controllers while playing games.
The controller has stiffer analogue sticks and triggers, so I guess it's been making doing game stuff much simpler. I wasn't expecting that to happen and it's the only thing I can think of that would make me so pop flyin'.

Like, I'm pop flyin'.

Something attacked my dog while I was at work yesterday. It looked really bad at the time and he was barely moving by the time I got home. The couple times that he did move, he drug himself with his front legs and didn't let his back legs touch the ground so I thought his whole backside was just destroyed. It also looked like his penis had been torn, and he has about 5 places where the flesh is exposed from bites (or whatever the hell did it to him. One of the wounds looks like a pellet rifle wound, so I kinda think some sick fuck came in our yard and did it to him).

Anyway, today at work I bought him a bunch of roast beef and planned on feeding it to him and then putting him down if he didn't show any good signs. But I got home and he's actually doing better now. He's sitting up and is a lot more attentive now. He still hadn't peed by the time I got home and that worried me because of the wound on his penis, but turns out that wound is actually just a small cut and all the blood from the other bite marks made it look worse. And the reason he hadn't peed yet was because I apparently have him really well house trained. I took him outside and he rustled for a solid minute and a half, and stood up while doing so, so I think his back end is fine and he's just sore. He still hasn't shit yet and I'm a little worried about that, but he wouldn't eat yesterday, so I'm hoping he just doesn't have anything in his system that he needs to shit out. All in all, as long as I keep his bite marks clean, I'm pretty sure he'll make a full recovery.

tl;dr: Something (or someone) attacked my dog. Thought I was going to have to put him down, but now he's doing a lot better.

Yesterday I've successfully added classes to my personal game project so that keyboard events could trigger actions asynchronously and it was super easy and works just as well, so I think I'm going to use only that from now on (even though both synchronous and asynchronous events can coexist transparently).

Yea. It's pretty pitiful watching him. He's getting better though. He's getting a bit more energetic each day and he's actually letting me clean his wounds without trying to bite me now.

My earphones are starting to mess up on the right ear.
Went to get new ones.
Found a pair of earphones price dropped from £99.99 to £19.99. (£20 is typically my upper limit of earphone pricing I'll buy.)

Dat £80 difference.

We've been letting the puppies and the two cats out into the back yard in the afternoons. I'd been worried about the cats, because of neighborhood dogs and such.

Turns out, the cats will come to me daisies near every time I call them. The two adult dogs only do so about half the time, and the puppies haven't figured it out yet. But then, cats are smarter than dogs. (Cats have twice as many neurons in the cortex of their brains than dogs, despite the larger brain of the dog.)

my rabbit made a complete recovery with no lasting neurological issues from bodaciously drowning (and im a little convinced he was dead for a few seconds before i grabbed him and shocked him back to life)

he was actually more energetic today when i let him run around the living room a bit than i've ever seen him

My classmate liked the duet that I composed, so we're going to play it for the studio concert in 3 and a half weeks!

Made some blueberry lemon sorbet as an experiment for some lightweight stress "cooking". I need to tweak it a tiny bit so that it doesn't get as many ice grains in it next time, but it's still delicious! And I can make a little over a pint for just about $2 when I get the stuff on sale.

I got the keys to my new apartment. Now I only need to have the Internet set up and it'll be inhabitable.
