AWKWARD ZOMBIE

Finally got through a game of Twilight Struggle. Technically played once before but I defcon suicided Turn 3 and it didn't really feel finished.

Game still ended in Turn 5 with a big Africa score giving me 11 VP bringing me to 19 and playing the U2 incident to get to 20. Friend could have prolonged it a bit, but figured I'd probably have won anyways and he had to go in 20ish minutes. Was good.

Did some service stuff to my truck, including flushing and refilling the radiator (it needs a deeper clean but I can put it off for now).

+5 to adulthood. I wonder when I'll level up and be able to take out loans and stuff.

I've started getting in the habit of watching Dave.
Dave is a TV channel in the UK which is usually a mix of Driving, comedy and those auction/antiques/that type of stuff.

I had a giggle fit over the simplest thing on an advert break.
Dave will have these random sentences just before one and the one that did this said this;

How to wash a spoon.
Step 1. Put spoon under tap.
Step 2. BLOODY HELL THERE'S WATER EVERYWHERE!
Step 3. Change clothes.

Thing which makes me pop flyin' right now: Reading Deadpool

I need to read more Deadpool. I read the Joe Kelly run, Agent X, and a little bit of Cable & Deadpool. Haven't read any of the newer stuff though.

I'm subscribed to a few of the current titles out there for Deadpool plus I read the two previous titles to this one. I've read more than 200 issues of comics with Deadpool now I think.

Nice. Deadpool is really the only comic I've read. I also want to read Neil Gaiman's Sandman comic/graphic novels (whatever they are).

Do it do it do it. Those are fantastic.

I'm planning on it. I just have to get through my backlog first. Fortunately, my backlog is down to the Wheel of Time series now so it shouldn't take me too much longer to get to them.

And so I went to the restaurant with guys from work at the end of the work day. It was nice. They bitched about other coworkers and made sex jokes (not about coworkers, nothing mean) and it made me a bit uncomfortable but they said nobody at work apparently had anything bad to say about me and that the dev lead basically takes for granted that I'll be hired for real after my internship is over because I'm good? I don't know what they are basing that on, since I feel like I haven't accomplished anything yet, but that's cool.

Also it's weird that these guys are only 1-2 years older than me when it seems there's a much bigger age difference, but that's because they are real people and I look 16.

Uh... Are you not? Did I miss a meeting?

And then Obnosim was the robots.

I mean people with interests and hobbies and social lives and girlfriends and ambitions and a personality. I'm making progress but I'm still awkward and bland.
