I keep forgetting which thread is the pop flyin' stuff thread then I go "oh yeah, the banbait title one".
So WITH ANY LUCK I should be moving to Texas soon! Waiting on my tax return to come back (just filed yesterday afternoon) to fund the drive there (14+ hours, from Shitty, KY to Plano, TX) and give me some buffer cash. Gonna write up a resume and send it at every tech company in and around Plano.
Nothing fancy, unless I get lucky. Support jobs, probably. Maybe a programming thing if I get super lucky. Associates in Applied Science (Computer and Information Technology) with distinction and 7 certificates should make job hunting easier... right?? This makes me pop flyin' but I'm super absurdly nervous.
Until I get my own place, I'll be moving in with my childhood best friend. And her boyfriend. He knows I'm gay, but I can imagine he still isn't entirely thrilled with the idea of his girlfriend's male childhood best friend moving in with them, even temporarily. It must be threatening on some level.
So I'm excited and nervous and worried, and that will persist for the next 1-4 months, probably.
And in 2-3 years, I'm probably going to end up moving to Colorado.
GOSH THE FUTURE IS EXCITING AND TERRIFYING
How do people cope with being alive and having projections for their own futures???
edit: Also, I don't even know where to begin for making a resume.
