And all this time, people were talking about how I never had any evidence of a southern accent.

And I was homeless for seven months, so it is still taking time to get all the worldly luxuries that everyone is used to having, but it's happennnniiiiiiinnnnnng!!

I was talking to a therapist today because I'm a horribly broken individual that has psychological needs that don't solve themselves by throwing sticks into the wilderness!

It went great!

Mom attended my session and he explained to her how her behavior doesn't help when I an upset!

I also need to find less reasons to dismiss suggestions.

Yesterday my classmates spent two hours trying to convince me to go to at least one of their two holiday activities and it seems they really do want me to be there and would be disappointed if I didn't and that's a mindblowing concept for me because I always assume noone wants me around. So today I said I would go to their thing in January.

People in my major have been acting strangely nice to me lately (nobody has ever been mean but they're super cheery and considerate as of late). I'm running out of reasons to act grumpy and miserable all the time.

Does anyone else chuckle a bit when they see Obnosim's avatar?

I don't know what that's from, but I suspect that person is up to some mischief.

Maybe it's that Christmas cheer?

Or could just be the environment there. I remember when I first started this job, everyone was really nice and polite and made an effort to learn my name and say hello when they were walking by. It kinda caught me off guard, i guess i just expected everyone to just mind themselves and tolerate each other instead of actually being friendly, but it was nice. It probably really helped me get out of my shell a bit and be friendly to the guests, too.

We only have 6 weeks of class next semester before going on internships and never seeing each others again, and that seemed to be the reason, since I've never been to any activity they've done in the past 2½ years. Somehow they've grown fond of me? They apparently even took the time in one of their meetings to appoint someone to convince me to come.

I have been allowed to prepare meals all week without being told to cook in a way that would make every meal end in fire.

Bryan - Whole raw potato, lemon, grapefruit, WITH rinds
Tyson Hesse - A CHIRSTMAS SHAKE a whole fruitcake, a full of tray of microwave "christmas dinner" blended together
Mariel Kinuko - 3 boxes of raw insects (scorpion, crickets, etc)

I recalled an old music video I saw on a kids TV channel.
After 10 minutes the full song just played in my mind and I remembered the name of the song.

The same TV channel was when I first heard Dragostea Din Tei. (Numa Numa.)
At that point I still thought the Internet was just Cartoon Network games, my parents would put in the websites and I'd just play.

Going back to those times make me pretty pop flyin'.
