iTunes is a slow hardware hog. You should never use it for music listening when there are far lighter and more user-friendly programs like foobar2k. You only need it for adding songs to your iPod if you buy the songs from the store.

for some reason my flash drive that had all my school files and my photoshop files isn't working properly.

yesterday it was just fine.

ages ago i named the drive FLASHIE so that name appeared no matter what computer i plug it into, and it had 40+ files on it in the School folder alone as of yesterday

today i plugged it in and it displayed as Removeable Disc G and it only had two old files from ages ago, one of which is corrupt

i
don't know
what happened

Thinking about wiping my C: Drive and reinstalling Windows. My computer has become unbearably slow at times and defragmentating didn't help much. Someone got a better idea before I do it?

If I partition my hard drive to instal Ubuntu, the likelihood of my hard drive getting fucked over is pretty negligible, right?

Also would it work to just have two hard drives? Would that still do the dual-boot thing properly?

Yes and yes. Be sure to install ubuntu after windows or else windows will overwrite the ubuntu boot loader.

Can someone give me a hand with this Signavatar thing? AZ won't let me use the URL I have for my rotation because it expects a .jpg and it's a .gif.

Duuude, just change the end of the signavatar url into .gif instead of .jpg.
That should work.

Been having a problem with Chrome

I'll be browsing like normal and then suddenly it won't load pages anymore. It doesn't take me to an error page, just keeps saying that it's loading (although I've only left anything to load for a few minutes so maybe it'll do an error eventually)

The only way I've fixed it so far is to close out of Chrome and then re-open it, but then a little while later it'll start doing it again.

I'm going to ask the obvious, tried reinstalling? Be sure to make backups of your bookmarks and whatnot

Do you have the same problem using a different browser?

From that we can be pretty sure that it's a problem caused by Chrome. I don't know what, though. I don't use chrome unfortunately. You could use a different browser for the time being.
I have no clue why it wouldn't load the pages. Usually that's a problem with the internet connection, not the browser, so if it is in the browser I have no idea.
