Fun and jokes aside (and yes, some of your comments have been very funny) as much as people try and help Zang he doesn't seem to... take their comments and how to improve well, which can be annoying. Some people are mean and sharp tongued - that's unfortunate. If I was in Zang's situation I too would want help, and even if he is maybe not taking certain comments well I wouldn't want to be criticised harshly. But back on topic, you will never get better if you don't practice and heed advice. Even when it sounds mean, it's still good to take criticism into account. Most of us were terrible at drawing/writing/ whatever when we first started out, but we practiced and studied and listened to critique to get better, and we're still improving too.

Most of the people here who have criticised you have meant well (in the long term) so just try and see it from their point of view. They see someone who's asking for people's opinions on their work, it's not all going to be good.

I thought about the critic in Ratatouille now.

You do need to know when people be trollin' though - by that I mean people who say your works sucks just to hurt you.

I just think you need to keep at it Zang, but don't demand that people pay attention to you. The right people will pay attention to you in time.

Your art and writing do need work - that much is true, but if it's something you want to do - keep on doing it.


Practice is after all the only way to get better.
