step number the first is don't rub grease on your dick
step number the second is get some acne wipes or something, and then eat less oily/greasy foods

All three sound completely impossible, I'll just tough it out.

this has nothing to do with grease/diet/etc it's just because I'm bad at shaving

i think that might be less pimple and more ingrown hair then

the solution to that is start shaving down there way more regularly

This is why I shave so irregularly. My legs get ridiculously sensitive after shaving and I often end up with scabs from places where I nicked. I can't restrain myself from picking at them >.>;

I think I finally figured out what's causing my skin problems.

Not quite, but there is a chance it might involve the word fungus so I won't go into very much detail.

Actually, my sunburn seems to have done a pretty decent job of removing the problem for now. Now I'm just waiting to see if it comes back.

Found out what's up with my hip.

It's a lower back thing that I need to go to a chiropractor to get fixed up.

I only suggested that a month ago to mom, and she thought I was crazy.

Welp.

Saw the chiropractor today. I have lower back arthritis and my spine is partially twisted down there to the left.

Main thing the guy said was that my diet needs to improve because I'm fairly active and I could easily be a lot healthier if my diet improved.

I just kinda stared at mom, considering about 50-70% of each meal she plans or cooks is carbs (potatoes and rolls with dinner, mac and cheese with no sides because it's a "treat" that we seem to have weekly) and I keep telling her to focus on protein and veggies, but she thinks more exercise will outdo it.

Here's hoping it'll get through for once.

If it still doesn't take, ask your doctor to seat your mother down, stare into her eyes, and firmly tell her that diet and exercise are not interchangeable, and that her son is going to be living in agony soon unless she seriously does something to change the way you (and probably by extension the family) eat.

It's more... she's the one with authority and know how, so when I suggest things, she either takes it personally or brushes it off like I don't know what I'm talking about.

And it's even simple things, like when she asks for the recipes for things I've cooked, she then makes her own changes and wonders why it tastes crappy (like cooking chicken in butter instead of olive oil and suddenly it's greasy as fuck and has a weird aftertaste).

The most apt comparison I have is that she's Malcolm's mom. And hopefully having some people with more "clout" than her (since she does at least acknowledge authority figures, though she tends to twist or misremember what they say for her own good) will get her to realize the change in me has to come in part through her actions as well. Even if I cook my own meals and they don't change their eating habits (which they should), I gotta have the stuff at home to do it to begin with, and I don't control the bank account in the family.

She also has a debilitating fear of dentists, eye doctors (anything beyond contacts and glasses), and other specialty doctors of the sort, so...

So as it turns out, chronic sciatic leg pain, or as I've named it "left booty cheek pain", is a real thing. Luckily, it's nothing more serious than "my left booty cheek hurts on occation." Unluckily, the only "cure" is ice...

...friggen leg nerve...

Well if that's the case, then maybe getting the doctor to tell her is a better idea considering they'll traditionally pull the "but what do I know, I'm just a doctor." card for a lot less pressing matters.

Yeah telling the doctor you're having difficulties getting the foods you need will probably move him to help out somehow. I find most doctors will go out of their way to give advice about stuff like that, so he can probably contact your mom and explain the situation.

The best case scenario is for him to say something like "You must eat at least X servings of veggies per week, and record what they were, and show me the food logs next time you visit" that way you and your family can be held accountable and the advice won't just fly over your mom's head.
