I am legally allowed to drive now, yay.

Right now though, I gotta work off the stress that built up during the test.

Man walmart is selling count chocula for a buck fitty. That's pretty great, haven't had this garbage in years.

Went out and bought myself new clothes and I didn't even cry.
I wanted to stop looking like a 14 year old but it's hard because I hate v-necks and stripes and patterns and plaid and prints and logos and colours and fancy uncomfortable things and pseudo-gangsta text-covered shirts and that's just about everything you can find around here so I've always worn only plain grey/black t-shirts. I've found several nice new shirts that aren't just that and that don't make be feel like I'm wearing a disguise so that's an improvement.

Had to buy some new jeans since I only had one pair after the inseam frayed apart where the fabric rubs together (pretty common problem in ladies' jeans above a size 8 or so, unless they are specifically made of heavy duty denim), and I decided to be optimistic and buy the size smaller than my previous jeans, since I'd noticed they were a bit loose, and I've been gradually losing weight over the last two years. But I wasn't sure if I had actually gotten smaller, or if the fabric had just stretched out a little from being worn.
The smaller size fits right off the shelf with no stretching or squeezing whatsoever. Yessssssssssssssss.

Twitch.tv is streaming "The Joys of Painting". I watched some to help me sleep last night.

Our apartment was approved and we can move in very soon. Been practically homeless for the most part these past six months or so, and I am looking forward to having a room of my own.

Though I probably won't be able to borrow this laptop for using McDonald's WiFi, but we'll be getting our computer stuff that was left in Florida soon, so I'm looking forward to that as well.

I got to hand out Halloween candy at work tonight! It's all of our seasonal candy (Candy Corn Hersheys, M&Ms, Pumpkin/Ghost/Generally Scary Versions of Reeses, Twix, Snickers, and Kit Kats) and some extra stuff we don't carry any more but we kept (because it's still in date) to give to kids. We also had some of our store-brand snickerdoodle cookies.

Also a ton of Tic Tacs (who would even want these) and some protein bars (what).

Went to a haunted house last night. Was great. Very fun.

Yes. Hand out. To the kids. And totally not hoarding them all in your room after work to yourself. ;D

I got my first choice of placement for my student teaching pretty much immediately, for the entire four quarters. This makes it all around easier for both myself, and the students, especially regarding lesson structure and paperwork on my end, and the social structure and expectations on their end.

I'm told it's fairly unusual to get first choice entirely within the same district (our certification is K-12, so we have to have experience in all three school levels), and so quickly, so that has me pretty thrilled, especially since the location is super convenient for me, and the people I see at work have had my mentors as their actual music teachers when they were in school, so they can vouch that they're cool people.

Massively long sentences, aaaaaaaaaaaaah.

I almost have all my friends back on my new Skype account.
I'm just missing one person, and a bunch of game guild chatter.
