I have a job interview at a nature preserve in the area! Even though I'm honestly not sure if i want to take that job since they're probably only offering part-time stuff, and my current job takes up a lot of time, it's still nice to know that somebody wants to interview me. Besides, it may open up more opportunities in the future.

There's a bunch of frogs in our ditch outside! (or they could be toads, not sure)

This was the best picture I could get of one. I think I saw at least 7 of them, kind of hard to tell.

Knowing the developer of a library personally really helps when you're trying to develop a game with said library.

I'm qualified in a radio contest to win a Harley motorcycle. 1% chance of actually winning at this point, but you never know.

I heard that Trudeau's victory is being at least partially attributed to his avoiding using smear campaign tactics. Confirm/Deny?

Only the conservatives use(d) smear tactics, so I can't confirm. I think a lot of voters went from NDP to Liberal because of the NDP's move towards the center (making the Liberals the most left-leaning of the big three) and Mulcair's evasiveness over the niqab issue, which was just a distraction used by the conservatives to use people's xenophobia.
I don't particularly like the Liberals (they are the most corrupt in general and Trudeau is an airhead) but it's still better than having a Tea Party reject.

edit:
I've been feeling weirdly good lately. For the last four days I've woken up at 4:30 AM for no reason and I'm not tired? The psychology exam I had on Tuesday only took me 40 minutes to complete and I got 100%? My web development class is going well? We had to evaluate the incompetent teacher so I could spit out 1500 characters of sophisticated bile in well-structured neat little paragraphs? The project we'll be working on for the remaining half of the semester in my network class is actually making me interested even though I usually hate dealing with networks? (I'm sure it's because this time we're using Linux instead of Windows.) I seem to have found a way to setup my pillows so I don't have permanent back pains? My mother bought me a steering wheel cover so my fingers won't freeze or burn anymore?
Also I'm at work now and I'm actually motivated and my boss showed me a box full of candy bars that she can't sell because their date is overdue and told me I can take them?
What is going on?

Bought new bedsheets on a whim the other day. They are freshly cleaned and just put them on my mattress.

So comfy. I can't remember the last time I bought new sheets. This brings me to a grand total of 3 sheet sets, 1 comforter, 1 ancient fleece blanket, and 3 pillow cases. My bed dressing game is not strong.

Edit: forgot to mention the new sheets are a delightful shade of red.
also my dog has already claimed them as his bed.

you are mistaken, Byron
I sleep there at the pillow, you can sleep at the end on top of my feet.

Went ahead and made small donations to a Somali fund, Amnesty International and a local human rights fund, with the Romani in mind. They're problem groups, yes, but what I said was still incredibly unfair and I really should have handled all of this more responsibly from the start.

Made further donations to a local muslim community as well as to the UN refugee fund. I believe that's just about everyone I've wronged covered.
