My best friend sent me THREE Steam gifts last night as a late birthday present: Speedrunners, Fallout: New Vegas, and Hotline Miami.

That is just way too much to spend on me and I love her.

Everything's been working out pretty well lately. I'm ahead of my work so I won't come back to the warehouse next week to a mountain of bullshit. I left my truck at a shop over the weekend so they can figure out whatever needs to be fixed in it while I'm out of town. It looks like Jacksonville is going to get rain, but the metal festival is a rain-or-shine event and I'm planning on giving no fucks this weekend so let it rain.

My mood is so suddenly improved right now that I went ahead and told that game design group that I can come back and start modeling/animating for them again after I move into a new place. Things feel great right now.

Also, I'm pretty pop flyin' right now because I aired out my PC for the first time in a few months (I AM A TERRIBLE PC OWNER) and then I had to clean all the dust off my desk. I have a glass desk, so it gets dirty extra fast. But now it is sparklingly clean and reflects like a mirror. I also cleaned all my junk off the desk that had been piling up for ages. Like pay stubs from January.

Hooray for Airra moving! It's great that you're getting back on that project too!

I'm also pretty pop flyin' that I just flipped through a sketchbook full of some maybe few month old drawings of a character and see that the quality of those sketches drastically improves over such a short time. I might be tricking myself since their design wasn't finalized and it just looks bad because of the design compared to the final design now. But, both designs looked extremely similar, so maybe I am getting better. There were a whole bunch of weird faces and eww what was I thinking moments, so let's be hopeful!
