Hey! I got back from my vacation yesterday! I went to San Francisco then up the coast and it was awesome!
My family and I drove down and that took about a day and a half, so we decided to check out the city. That was a bad idea; the traffic was insanity, I was fearful for my life. We quickly decided to leave the city to our hotel in a small town near by.
The next day was much better and we visited the ports and historical boats, then we drove over the bridge and took the scenic rout along the coast. It was BEAUTIFUL, I'm from a much dryer state and seeing so much water was super cool. We also went to Muir woods, which has a lot of red wood trees and stuff.
The next few days kind of were just us traveling up the coast but here are some notable events: We visited the point arena light house, Saw the glass beach, viewed some cool old Victorian houses, gazed up at the worlds tallest totem pole, saw (but didn't drive through) the Chandelier tree (aka drive through tree), went through Avenue of the Giants, and other smaller sites.
