I actually had a day off today. And good god, it was marvelous.
Walked/bussed to the Korean grocery and bought enough stuff to last me the next 3 or so months, so I got some fresh air while doing that.
Tidied the kitchen (heavy scrubbing is tomorrow) and then started on a huge vegetarian Korean meal for my cool roommate after she's had a terrible day at work.
Got some really decent practice in, my tone is great today, my fingers weren't locking, and I'm pretty stable for my flute juries on Wednesday.
Watched some Peaky Blinders with Sloth after he got home from work, and I'm digging it.
And now I get to do projects and maybe some vidya while I enjoy a tea blend that I put together that has the standard pekoe as a base, with blackberry, sage, and hibiscus. mmmm yes.

I forgot how nice it was to just have a full day off. And I get to do it again tomorrow

Cleaned room spotless, proceeded to use as an excuse to goof off today. It is the middle of spring break though. I don't have anything to do!

Just learned what Mouse Acceleration does. I turned it off and tried to play an FPS for the first time in ten years or so (after playing with it still on for comparison).

The difference feels amazing.

I can now send keyboard input to the game I'm making through the network. so the second player (and the first one too) can use another computer altogether. Yessss.

Ordered 2 pairs of glasses for under $40, it's great having my prescription already and not having to make a 2 hour round trip plus hour construction/eye exam/lunch/etc out of acquiring the things I need to see.
