Boxers are healthy because they keep your junk cool - ever wonder why your balls hang outside the main part of your body? It's because cooler sperm develop better than sperm forced to develop at body temperature.

If you stop your balls hanging freely your sperm are going to develop all retarded.

So shut up about your boxer briefs and let the man wear what he wants.

Unless you're wearing boxer briefs wrong, there should be ample room for your balls in them. Not quite as loose as boxers, but not a snug as tighty-whities.

Also, boxers are better if you're expecting to breed, but otherwise their looseness can be a bit of a problem. They're primarily the reason why your balls can stick to your leg, because that extra freedom allows that to happen. Then there's the slapping and potential squeezing.

I'd rather have them a little more tucked in.

I do have a couple of pairs of boxers though, for those days where I feel like hanging a bit freer at home, or if it's a hot day and I want to be a bit more airy. I definitely wouldn't go back to wearing them full time though.

So there's nothing wrong with people being a bit more educated on their choice of underwear. And there's no harm in people trying new things.

I just stepped in so that the 'debate' wasn't so tiresomely one-sided against the guy who said he liked boxers.

I used to wear briefs/tighty-whities years ago but I was never comfortable in them - so I made a permanent switch to boxers.

Also I've never really been overly conscious of the 'problem' of my balls sticking to my inner thigh - I suppose I have had instances of 'squeezing' but it doesn't happen often enough to worry me - and I don't know what you'd have to be doing for 'slapping' to be a problem - 'slapping' suggests a noise so loud your neighbours could hear you when you're wearing boxers whilst running on a treadmill:

I like boxers. I've found them to be very comfortable and usually have no issues with my junk sticking to my inner thigh or slapping everywhere. Hell, I wear my boxers under some comfy gym shorts when I go to work out at the gym and have never had an issue with slapping.
