I meant it more in the "why are you mixing together things that cancel each other out" sort of way.

Because vodka tastes like booty and Mountain Dew won't get me drunk. They don't canecel out, that's not how biochemistry works. People do Jagerbombs all the godamn time.

I've actually found that energy drinks do help in keeping me more active when I drink, I've never really noticed any cancelling out.

Found out my mead mixes really well with juice. Yay.

Also, I have also discovered that just a small glass helps me go to sleep instead of laying there and thinking about story stuff all night.

Mead's almost gone. When we ended up giving half of it away, and having four people split the bottle containing the other half, it disappeared about two weeks faster than what I thought it would.

Continuing from Confessions:

I like alcohol in moderation. Normally I'll have one or two Mike's Lemonades because they're tasty and give me a nice, warm feeling.

Semi-confession (not like it's secret) story time: I've only gotten drunk once. I woke up in the afternoon sometime and was like, "I want some orange juice," so I went to the fridge. As I was reaching for the orange juice, I remembered my mother had gotten me some Grey Goose vodka and thought, "YES I KNOW WHAT I WANT" so I filled a 32oz. cup with orange juice and vodka (plus ice) and drank it. It wasn't super eventful because I was home all day, but I remember Skype calling princess brothel and Cafall and Yeili and Great Handsome Oppressor and princess brothel started drinking with me and then I fell out of my chair and I'm pretty sure I talked a whole bunch but I only remember saying like, "I think I'm falling out of my chair," "No I'm good," "I think I'm sliding," "I'm definitely sliding," and "The floor is really comfortable" and then I think I fell asleep.

My mother came home from grocery shopping and I remember waking up and stumbling outside to the car and lugging some soda cases up stairs and man it was wobbly. Then I passed out again.

I haven't actually touched vodka since then. Sometime in the future I will.

When I get drunk I get cuddly and affectionate and slur my words and hit on straight boys.

I've been kicked out of a club for being too drunk once, recently. Not often am I that bad though.

I'm debating about whether or not I should tell my dad about the whole mead-making thing. With him being a dry alcoholic, I'm not sure how upset he would be by that.

Are you making it in his house or something?

I mean, if it doesn't really concern him, there's really no need to tell him about it, right?

Now if you live in the same house and everything and the mead is right there, well, hiding it would just be silly.

My point is, unless it's under his roof, it shouldn't be any of his concern what you do. My Dad has diabetes and he doesn't give two shits if my Mom and I have sugar. He just doesn't eat it himself.

Are you honestly comparing diabetes and alcoholism?

Yes, most everyone I know says alcoholism is a disorder, and thus needs to be treated like a disorder, which is why I compared it to a disorder. Are you seriously giving me shit for trying to view it how most people want it to be viewed?
