Tenac. I looked it up in the dictionary.

It wasn't there.

<Insert V's long speech of alliteration here.>

I only wish I knew that off by heart, but I don't. ):

I was working on it a bit back in November. Then one day I just kinda forgot. But anyways:

"Voil‡! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition...The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous... Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honour to meet you and you may call me V."

Or something very close to that. =]

Them's fighting words, there.

Let me guess, you read the graphic novel, then saw the movie and thought it sucked? That's usually the case when people say V for Vendetta sucks. I didn't read it and thought it was a great movie. I've heard the differences between the two, and I know how much the books are better than the movie 99% of the time, so that's understandable. If I were in that situation, I'd probably say it sucked, too. =]

But anyways, Young Guns was on today: "Hello Bob!" BLAM! "Goodbye Bob!" "Best dollar-eighty I ever spent!"

EDIT: Just re-read that and it kinda sounded condescending. Wasn't trying to be, honest.

Well, even if I hadn't read the comic, it's still a shitty action movie. But, since I did read the amazing comic first, it sucked ten times worse than it should have.

Also, "what we got's gonna turn your brain to shit."

I agree with what Einstein said. If you read the novel, you're most likely going to be biased because a movie can never live up to a book, or vice versa. I thought it was a great movie, infact I got it for Christmas, but the novel is better (I've read a little bit). I still liked the movie though. No need to get mad at us for quoting it. D8 Just quote something you like better.

"Somebody gonna get a hurt real bad..." Okay, not a movie quote, but it's still awesome and I got his DVD.

I admit that I'm biased towards the movie, but not biased enough to take the movie as being bad without giving it a chance. I gave the movie a chance. But the acting on Portman's part was so bad (particularly her horrible fake accent), and the action scenes were so dumb, and the romance was so fake. I just couldn't stand it. I just don't think it's a good movie. And by novel I hope you mean graphic novelby Moore, because the film was adapted into an actual novel, which is probably crap.

Also, Russell Peters ftw.

Self improvement is masturbation.

Well I'm a romance fanatic; if it has romance, I'll usually love it. So that's probably why I liked the movie so much. And yes, by novel I do mean graphic novel. I didn't realize there was an actual novel aswell, I haven't looked that much into it.

Russell Peters > Dane Cook.

Hey lady, where's your punani?! My son is at home sick, he needs punani right now! Is it ripe, let me squeeze it? Give me two! No no, no seeds."

Dane Cook's mouth is where jokes go to die.

Have you heard any of Demetri Martin's stand up? It's amazing.

I like clothes, you know. I dig fabrics. One of my favorite clothing patterns is camouflage. Because when you're in the woods it makes you blend in. But when you're not it does just the opposite. It's like, 'Hey, there's an asshole.' But when you're in the woods you're like, 'Is there an asshole out here?' They look like trees.

The other day, I was at a party. (Paper shows a picture of a hairy hand holding a beer)

And I saw a guy wearing a leather jacket. And I thought, "Man, that is cool."

Five minutes later, I saw a guy wearing a leather vest. And I thought, "That is not cool."

So then I realized it: The difference between being cool and not cool... Is leather sleeves. (Paper says, "I own leather sleeves")
