Faber Castell is more than likely going to be the brand you go with in the end. Only brand I can think of that's better than that in quality is Prismacolor and they are way too expensive. They also wear out really quick.

Faber Castell does indeed have a water colour pencil line. This would imply, however, that not all Faber Castell pencils are water colour.

I know there is an extra water color line, but I clearly remember seeing ads back then where they said that you can add water and draw as if you were using water colors. Eventually the add got changed and included that they have a water color pencil line now. I'd try it out with mine, but as I mentioned I only got this other line (which simply says that it's done with more environmental friendly materials) which is pretty bad and can't really be compared to the main line, so the results wouldn't say anything.

My friend's done a lot of research on Marijuana as well, I could ask him if you like.

If you roll a j you add tobacco which adds all those negative effects as well. Smoke is bad for your lungs period though, whether it's from a bong or not. And I'd argue it's slightly different from just adding a herb to your cake :psyduck:.

Yeah, you don't want to hear all the nasty stuff smoke does to lungs. I've run that booth several years at Relay For Life. We've got an actual smoker's lung in a plastic case and it is horrifying.

I wasn't trying to trivialize it like "oh pot's just an herb herpderp", I was just making a point that it's pretty much just eating an herb-baked cake, albeit a highly trippy one.

Would it be better to get some replacement Sennheiser 202s or [url=http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=10823&cs_id=1082302&p_id=8323&seq=1&format=3#specification]the Monoprice equivalent?

Before you all say the Sennheiser ones because they're not off-brand, Monoprice is known for being much higher quality than one would expect-their $50 tablets are generally considered better than Wacom stuff.
Do the specifications look decent on the Monoprice ones? I'm not sure what all that stuff means.

Depends on your price range. There's really not much competition for wacom so you pretty much just pick one you can afford.

I used to have an Intuos which was a beautiful piece of hardware until it died.

Was many years later that I bit the bullet and bought a bamboo. It serves my purposes well enough but I can't really make a comparison since it was so long between tablets.

EDIT: Okay... weirdest thing about this post. When I look at it it says 'beauyifful' When I go in to edit, the spelling is correct. Have tried editing a couple of times now but it keeps misspelling.

Nevermind: I just remembered the filters....

If you're just starting out, there's no reason this wouldn't be fine. If you want to go a bit higher, this would be just as good as a several-hundred dollar Wacom equivalent.
The only downside is that the Monoprice stuff doesn't come with Photoshop and that they don't dedicated erasers on the pens like Wacom.

If you want to go brand name, then yeah Wacom Bamboo Fun would be ideal.

I think I'll go with a Bamboo then.

Looking around I've found some decent prices, but does anyone know what the difference between a CTL and CTH Pen & Touch is?

They seem to have the same active area and iput resolution, so how come the CTH is £20~ more? Is it just newer and better?

I know this is late and someone asked about it, but let's not try to talk about ways to partake in illegal substances.

Not actually illegal in all cases and places, but I get your point.
