This thread needs something to keep it alive.

I honestly think the Daemonhunters need an overhaul. The codex is terribly out of date and most of the wargear is as well.

Go to your local Games Workshop where they have "LERN 2 PLAY" days.

Buy one of the tutorial boxes. one is called "Battle of Maccragge" and I forget the other one.

get a friends to help as well. Learn to play together, idunnnolol.

Also buy the rulebook.

I firmly suggest starting off with Space marines or Orks/Tyranids. they are easy to pick up.

And I strongly believe Tau is the way to go.

It's not that bad. You've got Kroot to help out with that. Granted, they definitely don't completely make up for the Tau, but not too shabby.
