Oh, one thing I forgot to mention earlier. Although I'm Christian, I believe in evolution.

Evolution is just something I don't think on very much. Whatever is out there is probably right.

I have to question how organisms even became onto our planet. Could anyone please explain that to me?

About the anti-divorce thing: what if the couple (or one person) has fallen out of love, or fallen in love with a different person?

I say that too bad. You said 'Till Death Does Us Part', so you should stick to your words.

Unless they can prove they said something different to a judge.

I'm just saying, people can make stupid decisions, get married, and don't pay the consequences by getting a divorce.

So it's better to be in a marriage where one or both parties is unhappy than to get a divorce? Things change, people change, etc.

And what if you're in a straight marriage, and the other person turns out to be gay?

These things will need to be proven to the judge before they can be allowed.

Oh, are you saying a divorce can only happen if a judge allows? Or just under extreme cases?

If a judge allows.

I know I sounded really confusing, but if a judge gives the go-ahead, then it's alright, but it should not be 'The Divorce Of...' it should be 'The Hearing Of The Granting of The Divorce Of...' or something.

I'm a Deist. I believe a God created the universe with all of the tools it needs to run on its own. I believe he created life and left it to evolve (maybe with a plan, maybe not). I don't think he micromanages much. I believe in reincarnation and in some kind of heaven, but I don't believe in hell.

I think gays should be allowed to marry and adopt as many children as they please. I'm iffy on abortion but ultimately I think a woman should be able to do what she wants with her body, provided it's not an 'Oops, I missed a pill! :awesome:' kind of thing, because that's just a cheap cop-out.

Ooh, okay. I thought you were saying it just couldn't happen unless it was an extreme case.

I don't really know what to call myself, I don't believe in or follow god, but I'm not denying his/her existence. I guess I just don't believe in anything religious, such as heaven or hell. But I don't really have an explanation for it, so I don't really deny the possibility of it.

I consider myself "Mostly Christian". Although I believe in God/Jesus/ etc., I believe in evolution, and I believe a good portion of the bible was corrupted or exaggerated over time.

I'm agnostic, I put most of my faith in science, but I question a lot of scientific 'truths' too.

I strongly believe in evolution.
I do not believe in the big bang theory.

I don't believe in an all-powerful being, but if I am greeted by such a being when I am dead, I will acknowledge said being.

I have an open mind about what an afterlife might be, but I wouldn't expect it to be on a level that corpeal beings can envision.

Existence without body. Thought without limitation.

EDIT: Yes I am a member of the Church of Satan for those of you keen enough to pick that up.

Once again knowing very little about it, I was under the impression the Church of Satan had more to do with nature than with Satan himself, but I haven't looked it up in a few years.

Pretty much.

It IS an "atheistic religion" if you would like to call it that. Evolution, not creation, and all that good stuff.

But it is sorta one of the foundations of the theology (or running gags depending on how you wanna look at it), that IF you look at old fictional story of the Bible, Satan is the hero and Jehova is the bad guy.

I mean come on. Jehova had his child ritualistically sacrificed. That's pretty fucked up.

Satan represents (in a symbolic sense) everything Satanists want to be. A seeker of knowledge, someone who doesn't submit to tyranny, seeking our own strength from inside ourselves and taking control of our own lives.
