I want to be the bumbling detective who is reliable when it counts.

Sounds great.

Well, it was really close but Traditional wins by a single vote!

And since I've started writing the first case and I've got ideas formed for the second, I'm gonna go ahead and start accepting sign-ups now!

I need 4 people for the first case. The roles I need are:

1 person to be the main character, the defense attorney(This is the most prominent role, so PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU FREQUENT THIS THREAD. This character will also be appearing in every case, so if you don't want to be this character for every case, just let me know!)
1 person to be the defendant(Male)
1 person to be a witness(Female)
1 person to be Winston Payne, the prosecutor(Male; Also, this is an actual character from the games, so being familiar with the series is appreciated, but not required)

Genders are listed in case you have preferences about which gender you want to portray. That being said, I'm perfectly fine with girls wanting to be male characters and guys wanting to be female characters.

Sign-ups are on a first come, first serve basis, except for the main character. If you want to be him/her, I'll put your name on a list and decide it from random.

Being Winston Payne would be funny, but I think I would like to be the defendant.

That's not always how it happens.

In Apollo Justice, the witness just HELPED the murderer. Kind of. So there!

except there's four roles, two can't be the killers, the defendant being the killer is a big enough plot twist it was used for the finale of the second game, so that really just leaves the one

But then I reveal a shocking twist. It blows your mind as soon as you read it. Wow. It's just that shocking.

There are two more characters left to introduce aside from the ones I'm accepting sign-ups for, but I'm going to take over those two myself. One of them because he has very few lines of dialogue, despite being an important character, and the other because he explains how the game works.

Ooh yeah I'd like to do...whichever one? I bodaciously know like one thing about the ace attourney games so probably not the defense attourney since that's a character in the game but other than that...any one whichever needs filling.

Well, the two spots left are for Payne and the main character.

Payne wouldn't be that hard to write for. He's typically the prosecutor you face in the first trial, so that's why I chose to include him. Maybe watch a bit of the first trial in any of the main games to get a feel for his character?

As for the defense attorney, that might be a little trickier to do, but still manageable. I want the person who takes on that role to feel free to play around with the character, and all you'd really need to do is follow the cues I give. And if you're interested, I'm available to help if you have questions about anything.
