AWKWARD ZOMBIE

Of the very few grudges I've seen fester here, none of them have been through a game of mafia. There have been squabbles, but they've never lasted more than a couple of posts, never result in any sort of argument, and were usually about things that couldn't have been controlled in the first place, like luck. I don't know what sort of experiences you have with it, but we're surprisingly tame when it comes to analfrustration.

The biggest problem is usually past games reaching into future games, like mafia choosing who to kill first based on who they know is the stronger player of the killing pool, but then again the first mafia kill is always just as trivial as the village's decision on who they'd want to lynch on day 1. That's just a flaw in the game design, whether it's typed or in person.

Personally I prefer the text based games because it's better psychology. The merit of why you're lynched is based on what you say and how you react to what everyone else says instead of becoming uncomfortable in your chair at the wrong moment.
