Because it's a GIANT shopping mall from the 70s that's like, 12 minutes from the infinitely superior Northpark Center

They do have signs about redevelopment and apparently they began tearing down the place ages back but as far as I can tell this one bit of concrete is as far as they ever got

"luxury cinema" so that means AMC is out, they probably mean to bring in a Studio Movie Grille because if Dallas knows anything, it isn't luxury

Oh, okay. I wasn't sure if it was a competition/rent issue, or if there were a bazillion code violations, or some gruesome murder that haunted the whole place, and the movie theater basically said "we host kindergarten birthday parties, and have drunk college kids as customers. Ain't none of your poltergeist shit gonna scare us out."

The last two would have made exploring infinitely more interesting. Like, even though I don't buy into the whole ghost thing, a lot of those urban legends have some sweet lore.

recently learned I am being forced into riding out my entire lease (through the end of AUgust) in this shithole so maybe I'll see another late night movie and then explore ~behind the scenes~ and in the OOB areas muehehehe

Picked up two leather bracers from the postal office today, and I'm pretty pop flyin' with them

They've got two straps, which is pretty cool, I wish the skin on my hand didn't look so wretched on closer inspection but otherwise, it fits me pretty well.

Also, they threw in free liquorice bonbons, which I did not expect at all. I didn't order it or know about it, so I guess they just threw it in as a surprise thanks for the purchase
