I play rap.

I LOVE rap.

While I try to be as open-minded as possible with music, I mostly grew up with rap and hip-hop because of my parents. A Good beat is YES.

Another thing I hate.

People who NEVER give a genre a chance just because they heard the shit on the radio and think that's what the entire genre is.
Which is why I despise listening to people complain about ANY genre without having heard the good stuff from it. All genres have crappy music and great music. None is perfect.

I completely agree with you, Yanimae.

People give country the same shit. I grew up with it, so I will always like it. For several years I have been broadening my taste in music to include almost every other genre.

While rap isn't my favorite genre, I realize there is good rap out there, so I don't hate it like some people do.

Basically, if it sounds good, if it has a good beat, if the singing is good, then I like it.
