Two test guys, pic I used to get some feedback in /wip/ thread.

Plasma guy needs a darker gun, and way less oxide, but other than that I like them a lot. First thing I've painted that wasn't a cron.

Couple of things I've been working on.

That's a fuckin' brilliant design idea for a 4-arm character, without having to worry about awkward-looking shoulder setups.
Also, it just looks really cool.

Another thing I've been working on. I think I like how this one's turning out. It's a character of mine in her full armor with her coat of arms and motto.

I don't know if this is the right thread, but I got to design my first tileset today! I got a little bit of a feel for designing a dungeon with it, andI'm pretty pop flyin' with it! I made this one in about three or four hours, but each tile is only eight pixels by eight pixels, and the artwork's pretty rudimentary, so I'd like to spend part of the weekend working on a 16x16 and gradually move up to something I could print out and work with and maybe glue to some fiberboard. (i.e. I want to spend a long time learning how to be lazy with art and design! (The image on the left is in the correct (8x8) scale))

hey friends i was wondering if i could get some advice on this friend that i was drawing.

first time using a drawing pad so my hand's still kind of getting used to the whole process (oh but otherwise I'm picasso himself yes absolutely). I'm just using GIMP but i'm really in the dark as to what might be the better program to use? Not too keen on photoshop at the moment



Also, scoot, do you use green stuff for your models? I'd say the colour for the plasma gun works pretty well. Great thing about CSM is the level of customizability, so I think it'd be really neat to see a bunch of tokens attached to the armour in the style of a legionary if you're familiar with them.

Gimp is more for photo manipulation and graphic design. I'd suggest Krita, which has the same license but is specifically for drawing.

I'm not exactly an expert, but those are some pretty sweet shoes. I do like the teeth, but again, not a shoe expert so you might get a different response from that fandom
