Avoiding the subject unless she brings it up will send the message that you're over her and she won't have to worry about whether you're still having awkward feelings over her or that you're being obsessive.

So there's my ex, Maddie, her cousin Lily, and Lily's ex, Alicia.
Maddie is just not ready for a relationship at the moment, Lily and Alicia broke up because Lily stopped having feelings for Alicia.
Lily and Alicia broke up about a month after we did? And I've just recently developed a crush on Alicia.

Bringing it up was supposed to be a very clear sign that I'm over things, but I never got the chance to even mention it because it erupted into misunderstandings after one message. But yeah, I'm just going to back off for now.

Was pop flyin' to see that I got eggs in the fridge as I totally forgot about them, but can't prepare them as my frying pans are currently in the dishwasher, and by the time it's done I already have to prepare dinner in one hour.

Ugh Idunno, I think I'm probably just having a shitty summer?
It started off really well and then my ex broke up with me so it's especially jarring going from the happiest I've ever been to the saddest, and that doesn't mesh well with my always being pretty depressed during the summer.

I'm going to at least wait for school to start before I look into it any more, because being around people will be good for me.
I'm just lonely after a summer spent with almost zero human contact that isn't in some way closely related to my ex, even the friend I want to talk to.

Now the sadness comes after this horrid month. I honestly don't know why I even try to be pop flyin' romantically anymore, it never works, and I'm better off just completely shutting out dating from my mind. Anger from that whole thing made me lash out to my friends, so now I've alienated them, and at work I've been doing worse and worse because I am getting burnt out from all of the horrible days due to third party mishaps. I just want something to be easy for once, but that only seems to actually happen to me once in a blue moon.
I think I'm destined to always make other people pop flyin', ignoring myself for them.

Everything I'm good at in life doesn't matter 'in the real world'. Love, friendship, games, writing, doodling. The one thing that does though is wearing a fake smile when not around friends or the gf, knowing I'm just a fuck-up-oops-baby.

One of my freinds is really angry at her ex and I feel like my attempts to help her feel better didn't work very well.

Also my ex is planning to go to a museum with the friend on Sunday, which only makes me jealous because it was kind of impossible to work out plans with my ex back when we were together and there she goes, whipping up plans on the spot the second this girl is upset.
It's petty of me to be jealous but it feels like a punch to the gut. I know it's because our friend is upset, but geez this is kind of really upsetting after my ex breaking up with me because A) I tried to see her too often (this makes the second time she'll have seen the friend in less than a week, the previous time was a sleepover) and B) she felt powerless to help when I was upset. UGH.

EDIT: oh wow this post got lopsided in the wrong direction. I'm more upset that I wasn't able to help out my friend more, I just have more to say about my ex being nicer to the friend than she ever was to me.
