Well by Fox I'm assuming he means whoever is Lucius Fox, the inventor. Though if I've got that wrong, speak up Kergan.

No no, that's it, I was talking about Lucius Fox. And it's not that I trust Fox, as I don't know who he is, it's that I don't trust Barabba.
(Also why do you keep writing it "Kergen" ?)

It makes sense to be a little leary of baraba, but only because he's 0/2 on the whole "hit mafia and not town" thing, which is more luck than anything malicious. The thing about Fox, though, is that we don't know who he his, which is a good thing. So far he'll have handed out two vests, one to himself, and one to someone else.

I do have a small idea, though...

Fox has a bullet proof vest (assuming he was smart night one).
The hooker's already dead.
The serial killer is still looking towards killing the mafia.

Does anyone else think it'd be in our best interest for Fox to out himself since there's no risk of losing his vests via hooking action, allowing us to either clear a town, or develop a suspect pool from those who counterclaim?

No. The serial killer needs Fox dead as much as mafia does, and if both know Fox's identity they can double-team and take out a vest and the player in one night. We can't just assume that the serial killer is after only mafia either, unless of course you're the serial killer.

The serial killer is not on town's side. At best he's at a cease-fire with us. Getting rid of town power roles helps him just as much as it helps mafia. Especially as we get later into the game and more people already have a bulletproof vest / Batarang.

You guys realize that if zsasz targets the same guy as the mafia, he doesn't get the kill, right? The vest gets used, but he doesn't get killed. He'd only become at risk again once the mafia is killed off, and even then he just uses more of his vests.

He can't get a kill in if everyone has a vest or batarang either. So he'd want to get rid of the persons giving them away.

It's not a matter of the serial killer wanting to get rid of him, it's a matter of the fact that both the mafia and zsasz can't go for the same guy, even if he has a bullet proof vest, and get the kill. The mafia's attempt will cancel out the serial killer's attempt, the serial killer won't get a kill, and Fox will be protected by his vest.

If only the mafia goes after Fox, the serial killer will kill someone else, and Fox will be saved by his vest.
If only Zsasz goes after Fox, the mafia will kill someone else, and Fox will be saved by his vest.
If both Zsasz and the mafia go after Fox, the mafia cancells out Zsasz's attempt, Fox is saved by his vest, and no one is killed.

Thanks to the hooker being killed, Fox pretty much has a 100% survival rate from any attempt on his life at night. bodaciously the only way he could die is if someone hits him with a batarang, or the town lynches him.

In fact, given these facts, I'm slightly more confident that Fox outing himself is the only way to ensure that he survives throughout the rest of the game, so long as batman refrains from giving anyone elsea batarang (and, you know, killing him himself...)

Doesn't that make town kinda OP? What with 2 roles that protect from night kills.

Thing is though, if Fox outs himself and has to replenish his vest every night, his role is essentially worthless from then on. Unless Both Zsasz and mafia choose a different target from him thinking the other will do it.

The thing is, though, that we'll know who Fox, Batman (essentially), and Catwoman is (when the joker bomb eventually goes off). Batman will also have an alternative person to give a batarang to besides himself. Fox should also know who batman is to be able to give him a vest. They protect each other, which immediately gives the town an edge against both the mafia and zsasz, especially since zsasz will still have a shot at killing the mafia, and anyone attacking either of the two of them will have a 50% chance of being killed. Besides, two people should have a vest already, Fox, and one other person. After tonight, it'll be three. Even if Fox has to give himself vests every night after tomorrow, there'll be three out there, and batman still giving out batarangs, assuming he saves them until the end, one of them definitely to Fox.

That's only if only one person claims it. If two people do, then even better, because we'll know that one of the two are either mafia or serial killer. Even if zsasz doesn't want to cooperate, we have a suspect.

The town isn't OP because armor and Batarangs break after one use, and they don't protect against lynching. Also the town has the disadvantage of not knowing who the other town members are.

I also think we should start getting people to role claim. Mafia will have to claim a particular character and can't just claim vanilla town. And provided two people claim to be fox, we'll hit one of them with a batarang tomorrow to test if they have the vest. If they die, they're mafia fake. If they live, we lynch the imposter.

And before anyone suggests that the fake could have the second vest, I'd like to admit that I received a vest last night (which I'm not sure will save me from the bomb, but we'll see. It was my secondary reason for wanting the bomb). I recommend Fox be careful who they give the vest to.
