Not sure that's a yeast infection then. Maybe you should get it checked out.. :psyduck:

Warm water? That's what I've been drinking to wash away the muck on my throat. That and honey tea and Chinese cough medicine dissolved in warm water.

I have a lot since what started out as a cold late last week has turned into a chest infection. Saw the Doc and was prescribed some amoxicillin.

I think I really need to see a therapist or something but I don't know how to go about it

I don't know how to tell my parents either

If you're more comfortable with one parent then the other then I'd suggest sitting down with them to talk about it. It took me a while to talk to my mom about stuff like that but when I did she was able to help me look. And I believe there are websites that rate doctors/therapists in your area so online is a start.

If you're still going to school/college you could try talking to the school counselor (if they have one) - they will be able to advise you on a number of things like how to go about seeing a therapist or whether to involve your parents (i.e. if your parents are a root cause of your problems).

I don't think you need to involve your parents necessarily (depending on your age).

Its not an infection with me. Just my nose being stuffy and me sniffing it back every so often. But i'll give it a try! Thanks Dire!

Amoxicillin pills are enormus.

There's always Google for finding therapists in your area. If you don't want to involve your parents for whatever reason, you can try sending them an email explaining your situation or give them a phone call, hopefully they should be able to help you.

I also think hospitals can direct you to therapists/psychiatrists but I'm not sure.

Second bout of urgent, liqui shit in twenty four hours.
Anyone have any idea what might have caused it? I had buffalo wings yesterday but the first bout of shits were only like an hour after that. We had pizza from dominoes for dinner but the first shits were before that. The mostly likely candidate I think is some venison stroganoff my sister made, that we had for dinner the night before, but I don't think anyone else in the house is having these issues?

The wings might not have been cooked through maybe?
Or you're possibly allergic to one of the ingredients.

Apparently there's about 50 different variants of food poisoning, so not unlikely you have one of them.
Might be serious, might be not. Just remember to keep hydrated what ever you choose to do :)

I hate when you wake up, and you're hungry, but it's like your stomach hasn't woken up yet so if you eat too early it starts hurting.

Maybe that's just me.

Related, on some mornings I'm ridiculously hungry even if I ate properly like an hour before going to bed. Nothing but a hefty dish of porridge has a chance of keeping me sated until lunch.

Nach the one thing I've learned from therapy is that you don't need to involve your parents with it, because everything you tell a therapist is confidential.

You are an adult and you can do this thing on your own without the need of your parents permission, when you go to seek out a therapist on your own, it is more likely that you will be helped.
