Skulls and skeletons are a bit of a thing between me n' my bros. We love the spooks. I'm painting some stuff for my bro and I like how these came out. I haven't cleaned them up so you can really see the work that went into these, I think it's neat.
Started with a black primer, then a dark red base coat. Brushed a lighter PANK over that and overbrushed a dark cream. Then, I washed it with an ink earthtone and finished it with dry brushing white to pick out the highlights.

"The Black Knight/ The First Hero"

Saved the world from certain disaster at the hands of some pretty bad dudes, but was cursed with undeath at the end of it. Now the Hero is welcomed as an honored guest in both the Underworld and the Overworld, but tends to wander the Surface, sometimes sleeping for decades or even centuries.

Also Trollgirl (haven't come up with a good name yet. Linked for sleepwear)

After running away from her abusive father (and, consequentially, her tribe), she wandered the world in search of a way to get by without them. Eventually, she took up thieving, conning, and commissions from the Adventurer's Guild to make end's meat. After meeting up with one of the other protagonists, they become a efficient, though sometimes conflicting, adventuring duo.

Well now I need to draw some absolutelu bizarre legs so they look normal in comparison.

I need to get to a scanner. Grrrr!

Here's a WIP of a belated birthday drawing for a certain friend of mine. I recently updated Manga Studio and now the program is capable of doing gradient maps, so I started playing with it and WHOAH I really like it so far. Tell me what you guys think?



The expression and the pose will make sense when I include the background, I promise.
