Oh, speaking of art.

I've volunteered as an animator for a project someone started so that I could learn a lot of animation techniques that I need to learn for my own projects sometime down the line. I'll probably also pitch in for modeling and a tiny bit of texturing.

It's going to be a Smash Bros.-style thing, from what I've been told, just with original characters.
From what I glanced at from the other people discussing stuff, one's a Ganondorf/Ike-style character that uses an axe. That'll be fun to animate, surely.

Learning things about rigging while helping animate this character for a project I joined.

The .fbx format is a little weird compared to what I thought it did.

The mouse teeth sticking out don't really fit with how she was portrayed in the cartoon, and the nose looks a little too big, but other than that it's really good

So, I've been working on re-texturing and re-rendering some of my old models these last couple of months. Mainly because on my first pass of rendering I never got my displacement maps to work. I have since solved that problem. I'll link the original renders under the re-renders.

I really, really need to completely redo Terakal. This rig is a mess and I didn't model him in the correct pose to be able to fly. Maybe when I get time...I never have time.

This is kind of stretching the definition of art, but a few years back I had to make either a comic or an advertisement jingle for a class. Since everyone expected me to draw something, I made this as a joke. All of my friends know about it these days.
For April fools, I made a few social media posts about how my goal is to put together an album of original compositions, since I've "finally got enough good ones, I think." Instead of any of my real music, I made a posted this: Carbon. Don't listen to it very loud, there's some serious clipping at the end.
