I'd like to do the pirate with Battleaxe hands as well, but I had this crazy idea in my head to do it as pixel art and then (gasp) animate it. So it won't be done for quite a while to come.

Are ya gunna colour it digitally or with pencils and stuff?

And it looks good enough to ink, if your going to colour it traditionaly.

I'm going to rescan it this weekend, maybe get a better picture.

I would so digicolor that if i had a tablet. But I would use colored pencils to color it. And on the original on lined paper, she's in a test chamber the sign read:
