Tried out a monster-only deck in DuelingNetwork.

Mostly Wind-Up and some support/Xyz/Fusion stuff.
Not too bad.

Holy crap, I'm getting lines for the shit I pulled out of Duel Terminal on monday. And people are totally okay with some of these prices I put out. And I got a Gorz trading away Laval Handmaiden. Holy shit, so this is what having good cards feels like.

I went out and bought a couple Magic packs on a whim the other day, and ended up pulling Elbrus, The Binding Blade, on my first pack.

I also got a few other cool rares like Havengul Runebinder and Fiend of the Shadows.

But yeah, I actually wanted that Mythic, so all in all it was a worthwhile purchase.

Slapping a Whispersilk Cloak on Primordial Hydra is basically my favorite thing to do ever

I don't know what I want to do with mine, though. I figure I'll just throw it into my old green deck, just because it's a big monster, and I'll have plenty of mana to use it. That and it's usually my go-to deck for multiplayer games.

You should slap that thing on an infect creature just to be a dick. Too bad it rotated out of standard, guess I'll just use Artful Dodge.

That is brilliant. I wish I had thought of that before I traded my only good infect creatures to another friend.

I did still win through infect counters in the first few turns of a game once, before I traded them. It was awesome.

Yeah, I hate infect too. It's just sort of... Unfun to play against. ESPECIALLY in EDH.

The only mechanic I dislike more than Infect is Mordbid, cause you never want to block. The set that they release both Bloodthirst and Morbid in is the set I rage quit.
