Agreed. I'm getting on the pill soon to avoid just those sort of annoyances. Plus it makes your flow lighter, predictable to almost the time of day, and makes your skin clearer.
Although I've also heard it makes your tiddies grow, and that is the LAST thing that I want, so not too stoked about that.
Eh, it doesn't necessarily alter your breast size; most people I know who are on it have a water-weight/bloating side-effect.
I do not know if I want to go on the pill. Lately I have just been hearing about increased birth defect rates for everything, being tied to the pill or vaccination shots (side-effects finally showing through) and even if I disregard these, I can't help but think that messing with the menstrual cycle might mess with chances at getting pregnant if I ever want to get pregnant, or mess with the pregnancy/growth of the child.
I am probably just being silly. I'm not a huge fan of condoms (no lectures) and have mostly relied on Plan B, which should never be your first choice because of its unreliability. I need to just go to a doctor and educate myself a bit more on available birth control methods and both sides to their effects.
@Kale: That's really cool. I remember my bio teacher telling my class about the MHC scents several years back in high school. The alteration that birth control creates nearly re-enforces my beliefs about the pill messing up your system though, aha.
