I keep getting these weird moments where it feels like I'm having a palpitation or a strange spike in blood pressure for less than a second, then it returns to normal.

This has happened before, I think it's due to stress.

Maybe back off of the caffeine if you've been hitting the coffee or energy drinks lately - sometimes those can cause heartbeat irregularities and/or blood pressure problems.

For about a week now I have had constant headaches whenever I'm sitting or standing, and going up or down the stairs makes it worse, so I guess it's a problem with blood pressure inside of my head. I don't remember this ever happening before and I don't know what to do.

Do you drink enough water? You might be dehydrated.

Can picking your nose until it bleeds too much cause colds? Or should I blame spring?

...Maybe having an open wound would leave you exposed to an airborne virus?

Quit picking your nose.

I suspected it could be it so for the last couple of days I've made sure to drink a lot of water, but nothing changed. I might be linked with the temperature somehow. My father decided to move the computer from the basement to ground level about a week ago too, so now it's always too hot for me (~23°C). Lying down makes it disappear instantly.

That sounds like something that might require a doctor's attention.

If you pick your nose, you're more likely to get rid of your nose hair that keeps bacteria and allergens out.

sometimes picking your nose can kinda be necessary, but try using a netipot or just blowing your nose instead if possible. Plus, you run the risk of infecting yourself with whatever is on your finger.

Are there any actual health hazards to ignoring an ear infection?

Complications can lead to hearing loss, but I think they tend to go away after a while. It could take some time though, so you'd be better off getting some sort of treatment. I'm sure OTC medication is available. You can also apparently use a warm compress, depending on how deep the infection is.

I was waiting until I had $20 to spare on the doctor/medicine, but it just kinda went away in the past couple days.
