Krom: go back downstairs and reunite with Koeqepp (having looted everything.)

During my conversation with this guy have I picked up on anything fishy, like him not telling me something or being unusually keen on vacating the premises?

Quepp: The wizard looks over at you, but then just goes back to looting some shelves.
OW: Your sense motive tells you that it was a little urgent, and he even said the others aren't going to last very long, it's safe to say you should grab the loot and get going. Paper is weightless and I am following that rule to the letter, so feel free to loot all the notes.
Seth: Krom gets downstairs to the library. The books are intimidated by your barbarianism, and thus deny you the ability to read. Just as well. And there's a dead guy with a mushroom on him. The wizard that isn't dead says, "okay, you're like the third non wizard to enter here, why are all of you down here today of all days?"
Scoot: Considering you haven't done that much during your time in the kitchen, you are put in a time vortex. You can make it back to the library immediately, or continue looting barrels. In order to speed this up, just name a 3 numbers between 1 and 17.

Krom: misinterpret this as asking for a lifestory!
"It all start when Krom was born, mommy was a orc and daddy..."

Well dammit. By "killing the others" I thought he meant the remaining beasts. I blame midterm week.

Going to try to be as stealthy as I can while readying my rope and dagger and getting into position behind him.

Being the master of stealth you are, you easily approach him. All other PCs can see you, and you haven't said shit to them about this yet, you know. AC 10, no armor, flatfooted. You also have a minus 2 due to the stenches upstairs that waft down to the library.

I'm aware I haven't said anything. Would if there was time to do so and catch this guy off guard.

Going for his leg, hobbling him ideally. 13 to hit, 2 plus 9 damage. If possible going to get the rope on him after.

OOC: Sorry about that! I've been a little busy lately, but that should settle down after tonight.

OW, you saw that mushroom down a man with only a cut to the ankle. You know that should you actually gouge his leg, it's as good as attacking any other part of his body. People have died of crazier things. I'll save this attack for later, for now, the wizard finally noticed that Quepp isn't actually one of the wizards here, and in fact is a female. And it would be rude if just as he's about to answer her, after being ignored all this time, he gets cut short by a short cutter.

"Well, I guess since I don't want any normal people like you to die too, I'm planning on setting off a poison gas leak in these lower levels. With THIS!" He holds out a beaker containing a slime, all silver and purply. "I recorded it went missing, and now it will accidentally find its way and mutate in the rafflesia upstairs, spreading heavy metals, poisons, and a brain numbing scent throughout these lower levels, where all the others are conveniently located. Except the guard but really he isn't an embarassment to Wizard Guilds everywhere."

Anyway, Scoot, in those barrels 5, 12, and 15. Within them you find some wet twinkies even though twinkies don't exist, 1 rations worth (value 0, edibility unknown), a slime (not the monster variety, just standard health hazard) (value unknown, edibility unknown), and some corn, 6 rations worth. The slime barrel was 1 barrel away from being over the bacon barrel, btw.

Anyway, OW, you want to continue that attack or try something else now that you know that flat out gouging him (in the ankle/foot/etc) could actually kill him (if he's low enough level/hp)? Actually, if it weren't a piercing attack, it could be a sunder attempt on his leg, but daggers are piercing only weapons, so yeah. You can continue the attack with the same roll if you choose.

Well now I'd rather get that jar out of his hands without it breaking and/or get him subdued.

Eh...could I set the dagger down then throw a coil of rope around his neck? I'm not coming up with anything better at the moment.

Remind me to buy a sap after this.

Well you just so happened to roll pretty daisies high on the use rope check, so using the attack roll from the canceled attack, after taking into account the the unproficiency penalty for lassos (unless I missed that you have it) you still manage to snag him with your punjab lasso. You're too short to grab his neck or anything but if stabbing someones foot has the same affect as stabbing their heart I don't think it much matters where you tied him, or how you tied him in that place. He is currently grappled. "What are you doing?!" And now initiative rolls.

Ayalea
Wizard: HP 50 AC 10 (while grappled) I don't think you have anything that targets saves so I'll leave those out, as will I leave out HD.
Krom
Cade (if he gets here)
Semli (rolled a two)

I couldn't find anything specific on lassos other than just a Use Rope check. Actually I couldn't find anything relevant to it outside the Use Rope skill section.

There's some supplement book with lassos as weapons but I don't have it so I made parts of it up based on other weapons. As for the use rope part, what other skill would you use to make a lasso? I have to wing some of this, you know.

"Now why would you want to go and do that?"
I cast Mage Hand to take away his beaker of purple slime.
"Answer soon cuz I'm not sure what these guys'll do."
I then take a step out of the way of Krom and Semli.
