That seems a lot more elaborate than any virus I've ever seen. Would seem more likely if you had rustled off a computer programmer, but other than that.

I can't recall Boredom, but have you tried scanning with anti-virus and anti-malwares from other sites?

I have. No virus either time, but like I said, this time it could be real since it was the family computer that set it off- and my family gets viruses like crazy. The last time it happened, I may have been sending links to a friend, it may have seen that as hacking or whatever. Facebook is stupid.

Anyway, everything I try, it looks legitimate. It's the official Facebook site (including directly typing the address, clicking Syobon's link, etc), it's tied into my actual FB account, the McAfee thing it makes me do looks legitimate, and I scanned my computer directly afterward and it didn't put anything on it.

I hate Facebook, just saying. Wouldn't use it at all if everyone else in the world didn't and it wasn't the only way to do some things.

Yes.

I'm somewhere between mad at Facebook, and scared it's actually still a virus.

Edit: So I let it have its way again, with the same logic that I could fix anything it messed up and the fact that it looked at least partially legitimate. Scanned again after it did it, nothing. All's well that ends well? Actually no because it should not be happening in the first place.

Anyone know how to turn off the text that pops up under your mouse when you press a modifier key, and the ripple you get when you click, both these only happen with tablets.
I'm using windows 7

It stopped doing it while in photoshop(the only time I use modifiers) so it's all good anyway.
Thanks though.
